First Baptist Church Ramsey

May highlights for the food pantry are:  Canned Goods:  vegetables, fruit, soup, tuna, salmon, chicken, & stew

FBC, Ramsey will host a Vacation Bible School on June 25 - 29, 6:00-8:30 pm each evening with the program on Saturday evening at 6:00 pm.   For more information, please contact the church office @ 618/423-2626.

Each Sunday morning during the worship time, we have Children's Church.  We are working on a musical for VBS which will be held June 25-29.  The musical is for ages 4 through 6th grade.  Morning Worship begins at 10:00 am.

We will have a diaper shower for little Hunter Charles Willis.  He is the infant son of Jason & Kayla Willis.  He needs size 2 diapers or bigger.  Please bring diapers by May 20th and put in the box in the foyer.

The "Coffee & Chat" group meets the 2nd & 4th Wednesday morning of each month at 9:30 - 11:00 am.  Any age, male or female, is welcome to attend.  We have coffee and usually something sweet each time we meet.  Stop by and visit for a time.  You may come and go as you please.

Summer Youth Camps are approaching.  The dates are as follows:

Older Boys - July 9-13 (ages 13-18)

Older Girls - July 16-20 (ages 13-18)

Younger Boys - July 23-27 (ages 9-12)

Younger Girls - July 30-August 3 (ages 9-12)

The following is a list of items needed for camp.  If you would like to donate please bring items by the church.  There will be a box in the foyer.

Girls Camp Supplies Needed

100 cans cheap shaving cream, 20-2 liter bottles soda (root beer, Dr. Pepper, ginger ale, orange, grape, pineapple, pink lemonade, fruit punch (cheap brands), 8 boxes Twinkies, 20-25 bags powdered sugar donuts, Pies any flavor: 8-9" pies, 10 hostess pies, All colors duct tape (LOTS), 1 big bag cheetos, 30 rolls crepe paper, 20 boxes (150 count) Kleenex, Packing peanuts (LOTS), 1 bunch bananas per camp, Cups-2 bags blue (used for games), 2 bags red cups (used for games), regular drinking cups 12 oz., Craft paints-puffy paints, fabric paints, 100 ping pong balls, 1 box LARGE craft sticks, 3 boxes Ding Dongs, 10 Pool Noodles, 70 Highlighters, Clothes line, Clothes pins.

Boys Camp Supplies Needed

Colored sports vests - 15 each color:  5 each size, small, medium, large, blue, red, yellow, green, Water balloons, Shallow bowls, Clear plastic containers, Dodge balls - 10 any color.
