Joined the team at FBC Ramsey on June 12th, 2011. He has served churchs in Arthur, IL, Nokomis, IL, and Georgetown, IN.
He and his wife Amy, have been married for 21 years and they have 2 daughters, Audrey, who is attending the University of Southern Indiana in Evansville, and Sarah who is attending Lake Land College in Mattoon, IL.
Pastor Scott has a Bachelor of Science degree in Leadership and Church Minisry and is currently working on his Masters in Biblical Counseling. He was liscensed and ordained by the Sullivan Southern Baptist Church.
Pastor Scott and his family are delighted to be a part of the Ramsey community and would like to invite you come and worship with them and the FBC family!
Laurna began working as a secretary for First Baptist Church Ramsey in 2005 after retiring from Ramsey School District. She worked as grade school secretary for 11 years and then as district bookkeeper for 12 years.
She grew up in the Ramsey area, the youngest of seven children. She graduated from Ramsey High School and married her high school sweetheart. They have three children and seven grandchildren.
Laurna was raised in a Christian home and received Christ at age ten. Growing up, she attended church regularly with her family. As an adult she has served as Sunday School teacher for 1st & 2nd graders for over 30 years. She has also served as Acteen leader, choir member and helped in Vacation Bible School.
She enjoys camping, reading, quilting and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
