Dear Parents,
My name is Luke Henry and I wanted to take the time to tell you who I am and what you should expect of me. I grew up for most of my life in the town of O'Fallon, IL with parents who always were involved with the church and the community. I accepted Jesus Christ into my life in first grade and got the call to ministry in college. I attended Olivet Nazarene University on an athletic scholarship where I studied to be a P.E./Health Teacher. Prior to my senior year, I changed majors so that I could focus more on ministry classes. I graduated from Olivet in May of 2008, and since then I have been pursuing the direction God has set out for me. He has lead me to your church to invest my life and experiences into your student's life.
I wanted to let you know that I am looking forward to making an impact on your student and hope that we can work together to build your young man or young woman into a person who has a heart for God. Our youth group is not a babysitting service, but rather a place for your student to come together with other students and learn more about being a fully developed follower of Christ.
